It's still easier to cut the wire (or splice in a switch) up on the
passenger-side of the firewall. Yellow/Green wire runs through that
harness.

on the 01s it the yellow wire with the with the green strip. it is the
number 10 ppin on the TCM if you don't want to cut the wire just remove the
pin and all is good and you can replace it if need be
