I cc'd it to the DML for a reason. I have nothing to hide, and I
do not appreciate being pigeon-holed for something I did not do. I did
not say I was prejudiced in any way, I was making a disparaging remark
about my own peer group, NOT YOU. I also am rather dissapointed that
you posted an apology to the list, saying you were going to "shut up
about it" I believe is the phrase you used. AND THEN you turn right
around and privately accuse me of being a bigot, or a racist or worse.
I am truly offended at being treated in such a twofaced and underhanded
manner. There's no way I am keeping this quiet, just between us. If
you choose to take offence or be unreasonable about it after what I
already told you [and your hubby] then, well, that's your proiblem.
Like I suggested to Jason, you can feel free to filter me or appeal to
Jon to have me removed from the list...
And as far as you being offended if another group is substituted for
"fat", That's BS, too. Unless you are a member of those groups, you
have no business being offended "for them" either, and that assumes that
the comment was intended as an insult, which you KNOW it was not. It's
amazing that if you truly are that oversensitive, how have you survived
on this list as long as you have...
