Have a big drink for me! Point made and accepted to be sure. I would say
that it did make a big difference on my 5.2 to have an electric fan this
winter instead of the clutch fan as for warm up and running temp. I just
set the thermostat for the fan higher and get plenty more heat and faster
warmup.

Gonna hafta sorta disagree on that Rick, unless the fan is locked up all the
time, in which case I'd expect Jon would be complaining about the roar from
the fan. Never had a problem warming up on my '92 or my '00 Grand Cherokee
with that clutch fan. And besides, the engine isn't supposed to get any of
the cold water from the radiator until the thermostat opens. I know... he
needs to use distilled water. :-)
