Funny, mine hardly make any noise at all. They have gotten a little
noisier since they were new (holy crap those things were quiet when
they were brand new), but still much quieter than stock. The only
time they really make any noise is right when the truck comes to a
stop.
Every once in a while they will squeak a bit, but that never lasts
long enough for me to investigate -- it usually goes away in a couple
of stop lights.
Oh well. Compared to the rotors, the pads are damn cheap, so I'm not
really worried about that. When they start to wear out or start
making too much noise, I'll just replace them with some of the
Raybestos pads since I can easily get those at Poop Boys or Kragen
instead of having to mail order the Hawks.
