my favorite part was when they asked the guy what he would suggest other's
do... he looked like he wanted to say "don't buy a dakota," but tempered his
response by saying "check your balljoints."

gee... now that i've had all 4 of mine replaced, any reason i should care?
oh, and how come the problem deals only with the UPPER ball joints, not the
lowers? my lowers went out first, then the uppers.

Nothing terribly new, just that the gov't has expanded the Durango
investigation to include Daks (what a shock! it's the same suspension).
  Oh, and a Dak owner who was told by Chrysler "we'll pay for the
repairs if you keep your mouth shut *and* agree not to sue" - he told
them to get stuffed and is footing the bill himself.

Anyone else notice that Rather spoke very slowly in the story intro, as
did the reporter? Guess we're just used to the topic so we can
think/talk about it faster.
