well here is the story about my 93 dakota Ext cab 4X4
for the past 3 weeks or so my gas peddle would be hard to push down till it
gets up to temp.. or if i did push it down a little to get the rpms up it
would feel right loose........... thinkin its the kick down maybe not.......
then after it warms up it would work fine.......but then some times when
driving the rpms would run up and no tranny hook up weird i say then it
hooks up again and all is fine then 2 days ago...... not to cold out up here
in Canada i was drivin in town and it was workin fine...... then poof no
tranny got it into a parkin lot to see what is up but nothing....... first
though was fluid but nothing in that dept........ so i check out underneath
to see if anything was let go or so forth but nada.......... if it idled
there it would hook up a little but not enough to drive 20mins home so i got
a darn tow home and check some stuff out....... talked to a couple people
and said is your kick down cable broke....... i didnt know and dont know
nothing about auto tranys so i found it and well it did break when i was
checkin it out so had to get a new one anyway 107$ cnd dollars ouch so got a
new cable put it on yesturday everything was free and not binding but still
no tranny....... out 107$ anyone got ideas what it could be..... cant get it
into shop till after new years and i need a vehicle...wondedring if anyone
else had this prob i couldnt find anything in the archives ...... any info
would be great....... oh yea and the fluid was full .....and wasent changed
for awhile so that could be a possiablity what is anyones input
