The good news is my miles per gallon is up for the year! 15.035 up from
14.157mpg in 2002. Not sure what did bring it up, I think part was more
hi-way driving and small part of better around town mileage for the last 3
months. MPG should go up in 2004 due to mods done over 2003. Such as
electric fan, ported & polished 68mm TB, reinstalled the OEM air intake
"hat", AMSOIL oil, dual oil filter, rear gear lube w/ modifier, new front
wheel bearing (both sides). Max MPG was 18.595.

The increase in MPG didn't offset the higher price for gas, 2003 avg. cost
per mile for gas is $0.0956, 2002 was $0.0938 per mile. Average for 2003 was
$1.436 per gallon and 2002 was $1.328. Max paid for gas was $1.909 in Fla.
and cheapest was $1.199 here in TX.

Some other year end numbers.
Maintenance $485.75 avg. per mile $0.027
Mods $1,416.05 avg. per mile $0.079
Repairs $204.92 avg. per mile $0.011

$107 of the repairs is for an Optima battery.

2003 Grand total $3,970.07 avg. per mile $0.2207
Grand total dose not include truck payments or insurance.

I thinking the 2004 numbers for Mods wouldn't be as high. Unless I find a
nice set of bumpers for the front and rear!

Hey you all have a good new year!
