ok Amsoil has 2 types of filter systems. one is just the bypass filter,
which just takes a little oil out of the T fitting where the oil sending
unit is,running it in a rubber hose into the filter then back into the
engine in another location...like a taped hole in the valve cover.

the other one has 2 places where filters are to go..one is a standard filter
and the other is an amsoil bypass filter, the oil lines attach to the
mounting spot on the engine block(where the normal full flow filter is
located)
