Bob,

On both Diff's on my 97, I've just slid a small standard screwdriver under
the outside flap until I could grab it with fingers then gently pull it out
all around the outside edges. The first time I did this I had new ones to
go back in but since then they've been in and out a few times with no leaks.
I've always put a little fluid on the inside lip before pushing them back in
snug with my thumbs.
