More than likely, governor pressure solenoid. However, there is a PCM flash
fix for a situation like this as well.

i have a 1999 club cab sport 3.9v6 with 69,000 miles on it... the
truck is having problems shifting between 2 and 3 gears. it'll rev up real
high and then go into like a over-rev mode and then shift. feel's like i'm
blasting NOS into the damn thing..

any ideas what it could be? transmission? fluid? truc k? hehe
