Don't forget the old 80s FWD Turbo Dodges. The intercooled cars had the
A555 built by Getrag. That's a tough little gearbox- and rebuildable if you
can ever find one. I wonder why DB decided to switch vendors. Does Getrag
make trannies for the MB side of the 'family'?

>I know that Getrag does make transmissions that don't have sealed cases,
some of the berettas/corsicas/cavaliers with the 3.1L v6 from the earlier
90's had getrag 5 >speeds in them, and they were fully serviceable.
