We were recently having an Aamco discussion and someone on the list said
they had a bad experience with Phoenix, but APS has a solid reputation.

I'm going to keep mine for a spare - for insurance. I haven't found any
options for beefing one up. I have a "back of my mind" project to use my
spare to
see what could be beefed up. I had a friend buy an auto tranny from Phoenix
Hard Parts and he's been pleased with it. If you buy from them off eBay, I
think it's a little cheaper.
