Bad news: the DAKSY gave me a MIL tonite. Key on/off 3X gave me
P1281...P0442...
According to the "Bible:"
P1281 - Engine is cold too long -
Engine coolant temp remains below normal operating temperatures during
vehicle travel (Thermostat)
P0442 - Evap leak monitor medium leak detected -
A small leak has been detected in the evporative system
My guess for 1281 is that the t-stat is stuck open, but she's got
heat...'course it's not freezing cold out there...
What's confusing is that I'd only driven about 1/2 mile when the MIL came
on...
For the 0442, I'll check the gas cap tomorrow when I fill up...
Anybody else got input?
