No, it's not a RICEBURNER thing!
This type of modification has been around a lot longer than the current
IMPORT FAD, this has been around way back in the mid to late 80's when I was
into the PRO STREET stuff!
The Street Rod guy's have been using NITE SHADES on the dashboard as a way
to hide Digital gauges and lightly tint domelights, courtesy lights and such
for years.
