It's done. My Dak is on the road and back in my driveway. No video yet, I
added some "finished pics" to my website. I still need to detail the engine
bay
so I haven' t got any pics of that yet (body shop snot makes a mess).

It is really nice. I've only got about 100 miles on the drivetrain so I
haven't romped on it yet. The torque is awesome. I barely lift the clutch
and she
starts rolling. Sounds good.

Motor is running good, no rocker noise to speak of, no exhaust leaks, no
fluid leaks that I've found. I hope I'm not jinxing myself.

The plan is to run it for about 1,000 miles, then dyno it. Since it's a new
motor, new tranny, and new rear end I really want to break it in properly.

The body came out super. We did a frame-off. There's an awful lot of new
stuff on the truck. At some point I'll sit down and write a complete
break-down of
what was done. Until then, feel free to hit me with any questions.

Two years and two months later, I've got a 408 again. Life is good.
