Aaron,
Depending on the style radiator it may or may not be
worth having fixed. If the radiator is in good shape
(no corrosion, etc...) and has metal tanks, you can
take it to a repair shop and have it brazed up. If
the radiator has plastic tanks, I wouldn't worry with
it. Check around on replacement prices.
www.radiators.com has always had great prices for me.
I have one in my dakota and love it. I picked mine up
for around $125 about two years ago. it is a 3 row
drop in replacement. Replacement is easy. Remove
hoses, remove fan, remove fan and fan shroud together.
The trans lines will be one of two things. 1) hose
clamped on and easy to remove. 2) has quick connects
that will require a tool to remove. The quick
connects are just like the ones on fuel lines and a/c
units. Or you can go the easy route and remove them
from the metal lines at the frame then remove the
parts that screw into the radiator with the hoses and
put them in the new radiator. Then use teflon tape to
seal up the connections at the frame again. That's
what I did. :D
