Going from the idle issue - Remove the IAC solenoid and make sure the o-ring
is still in good shape and not stuck in the bore (I've seen this on a few
Dodge's already - not just the Trucks either and on some newer vehicles as
well). Clean it out while you're at it.

Code 25 is just a general circuit code for the IAC which requires quite a
bit of testing (OHM readings in between the driver pins and ground).

Subject: DML: Trouble code 25

1997 Dak, 318
Check engine light not on, nothing on the odometer (but the usual 12 and 55)
but after the key on/off method again the check engine light flashes a 2,5 .
I know this has something to do with the IAC motor. Any idea on a fix for
this, cleaning or replace? Lately when coming to a stop and pushing the
clutch in the tach will go down to just under 500 RPM then up to 1000 RPM
and then settle down to the normal idle speed of 625 RPM (which it has done
since new).

TIA for any advice here.
