That was about my impression of it, too. I stopped off at Cortese
Dodge for a couple of.... LOWER SHOCK BOLTS and they happened to have
one in the showroom. I got in and hit my head on the top of the door
opening, and started loving the interior. Then I tried to look
outside, and the top of the windshield is too low/far forward for my
taste, and the A pillar is as thick as my arm! Granted I was only in
the showroom with it, but I was pretty disappointed with the
visibility. I still love the outside look, though.

Also, the DurVANgo seems to carry much the same interior look, without
the visibility issues. I'd have to drive one to see for sure, but I
know that if it drives as well as my parents' TrailBlazer, I'd take it
over the bowtie since it actually has some bolstering in the seats.
Though the Chebby does have some *damn* nifty computer stuff going on
that I don't think Ma Mopar has yet to match. I'd bet the 20+ MPG that
my dad sees from the TrailBlazer's I6 wouldn't compare to the HEMI's
milage, either. I wonder if the 4.7 could scoot the dango as well as
that I6 moves the TB - it's a damn quick little 'ute. If I was at all
interested in that light duty not-quite-fullsize SUV segment I'd have
some serious comparing to do.

I also couldn't believe that they get the same $35k for a HEMI durvango
that I could pick up a CC shortbox 4x4 HEMI 3/4 ton Laramie Ram. Of
course 'utes being overpriced is definitely nothing new.

As for the shock mounting bolts, I'll have them either tomorrow or
monday. I still don't know how I'm going to get the broken one out -
I've broken one wrench and damaged another with my Craftsman broken
bolt remover - I can get it to take a *damn* good bite, and I'm
definitely not into the A-arm, I'm centered in the bolt, but I can't
get the damn thing out. If I had clearance, I could try running it out
the back of the A-arm, but there's definitely not enough room for a
drill there, and I don't think the bolt segment would fit out that way
either. uugh - this one might have to go to a shop. If only I had a
really really hot impact wrench with a square 7/16" socket and an
oxy-acetylene torch...
