I've got an '87 2.2 that has 246K. I'm stuggling to get 250K before I 'retire' it. Other than 'standard' wear items (water pump, timing belt...), the head gasket went at 180k (not cracked or warped)and I decided to also have the head rebuilt since I was at it. No complaints on the 2.2L here.
