Interesting. I've slept through the last couple of earthquakes we've
had here (usually 4.0 - 5.0's). I guess I've just grown used to it
over the years, and with everything being built to withstand
earthquakes here, you hardly notice unless it's a really bad one.

Given the choice, and having experienced both, I would still take an
earthquake over a hurricane any day :-)
