99 dak gets a "front end rebuild"

My extended warranty is up in october, so i took the dak in for a
full "try to fix every nag there is" session (including the recent
using oil problem):

Upper control arms getting replaced (bad bushings)

Grinding lower control arm section that interferes with part of the
steering (i'm not sure about this: i'll have to look at it when i
get there, but it's apparently common)

Spark plug wire TSB.

Belly pan gasket replacement with a redesigned part.

Clean intake because of the oil let in by the gasket.

Check exhaust to see if cold knocking sound is coming from there.
(as suggested recently). The knocking only happens when under load
(even mild load) but not idling, so i don't think it's a tappet.

So, with the recent rebuilding of the rear end, and the previous
replacement of the steering column, hopefully this will purge the
rest of the factory installed problems.
