So when I am looking at these 3 or 6 ohm ballast resistors, what exactly are
they then? Like someone else said, answers like that leave people hanging!
And some sites have suggested putting a bread-n-butter radio shack resistor
in which IS, in my own and others' opinions, a no-no..especially when the
right fix is less than 10 bucks..
