Halo plugs in mine - close to 28K now and not worn out yet (Accel
Multi-Spark ignition as well). Mileage did go up with these plugs (about
1.5mpg on the average) and responds much better than the 5224 and 3923's.

Depends on what you mean by better, I suppose. IIRC, it has been dyno
proven that the Autolites will give a bit more power than the Champions
(something like 5hp I think?), but that they
need to be replaced quite often also. The impression I got was
that if you're looking to squeeze every last bit of power out of
the motor and don't mind the extra maintenance, the Autolites
are the way to go. I've got Champion Truck plugs in my '96, I
think I put them in there about 30,000 miles ago and they are
still going strong.
