My thoughts on the no regular cab thing were that by having only club- and
quad-cab designs, DC can use one wheelbase and chassis for both. The CC
getting a 6'-whatever box and the QC getting the 5'-whatever box. I guess
they looked at their sales numbers and saw that RC daks just don't
sell as much as the other configurations, at least not enough to
justify making two chassis. Keeps tooling costs down, that's for sure.
Theoretically they could make a RC with 8' box or something for fleet
customers, I suppose.
