Sorry to hear the JB Weld didn't work for you. I hope you can
find a
lock cylinder and save the bucks!

I see that you got your fuel pump replaced and it sounds like
you got a
good deal on it. I'm sure glad it solved your problem. I still
need to
get mine done before I get stranded or something. Was that
Carter pump
the Mopar replacement or a suitable facsimilie? Bernd had
recommended a
Holley replacement pump, but I don't know the part number. I'm
working
with a guy at my local dealer right now to get my fuel pump
problem
fixed. He's currently got 3 Vipers and 5 Mustangs in the shop
right now
that he's working on and they are all supercharged. He's setting
up fuel
systems on them to alleviate any fuel problems. Seems like that
is all he
does is work on fast vehicle. The dealer is really into that.
You should
see some of the Hemi Rams and Magnums they've got! Man!

Talk with you soon,

Ricahrd

Richard,
Carter pump was an all-in-one unit with new fuel sending unit, fuel filter,
etc. I'll have to find my receipt to give you the part number. It was a
direct replacement for the factory unit. It's friggin' HUGE!

I'd definitely recommend that you replace yours, especially because of the
supercharger. If you get to running lean, who knows what kind of bad things
could happen! Is yours a return or returnless
system? I'm thinking they went to return in '95. Might ask Bernd about
that one.

Sounds like a cool dealer you're going to. I've yet to make a good
relationship with mine here in Wichita Falls. Prices are hit and miss on
stuff. Sometimes good, sometimes high. I need my "TonyC's garage"
discount!

Adios,
Brett
