I have discharged my Red Top twice and it has had no problems returning to
full charge in the 3 years I have had it. I run an electric fan and FOUR
Hella 500 lights on it, and use those on high beam when I am driving in the
backroads of Kentucky. It seems to hang right in there.

Supposedly the yellow tops are better for being totally drained multiple
times, yet almost all of the serious off-road guys (they do a lot of
extended winching) tend to stay with the standard red top.
Maybe it has something to do with cost, because even at Costco a Yellow is
about an additional 1/3 more in price than a Red. (150 for Red, 200+ for
yellow at the Costco here in Windsor)

Anyway, i've got a Red in my Scout II, but seeing as how i haven't even
gotten the thing plated yet, i can't give a long-term report as to how it
handles winch duties, cold starts etc. etc. etc....
