Torque Convertor, failing?

If the one way roller clutch inside it for the stator goes bad (allowing the
stator to free-wheel in either direction), it will have lower stall speed
and much less torque multiplication making launches very difficult. Driving
along at speed it will seem near-normal.
Many other things possible to go wrong too, I guess.
