No problems with it at all on my home-built "HotRod" machine. Been running
it since was in RC2 stage and updated it to the public release - no
"glitches".....yet. (Did the update/upgrade on my laptop, desktop, and kids
PC)

Subject: DML: (Off-Topic) Windows XP SP2 ..."Pain in the @$$"

I've been OFF-LINE since Saturday Night when I performed my routine Disk
Defragment and Disk Clean-Up, scheduled updates, Etc......just the regular
stuff to keep my Compaq running smoothly and performing at it's Best!

I Downloaded the Windows XP Service Pack 2, and Re-Booted my Computer,
thinking I'd be good to go for the next week I then went to bed,.......next
morning I went to check my E-mail before work on Sunday morning and the
Computer refused to start windows and just went into a Loop of re-booting
without opening the windows program......over and over and over.

A phone call to Microsoft that night to the tech line revealed that the XP
SP2 had corrupted a number of files and wouldn't let it boot up, I had to
get a Restore CD from the shop that updated the operating system last
January and Re-load everything and go back and re-configure my files back to
where they were before I installed XP SP2.

Does anyone else on the List use this version of Windows and installed this
service pack?...any problems?........or did I just have a little BAD LUCK!

Dak Content: I couldn't read my DML mail till just yesterday, after my
Browser programs were
re-installed!

And I couldn't shop for parts for my Dakota's! :(
