The story I get from our security guy is "well, when you search a
comprehensive virus definition database, it's not always going to be
fast" - But when the AV product reduces my productivity to the point
where I'm best of starting something and then going outside for a drink
& snack, what's that worth to the company?
Supposedly we're switching to a different product in the very near
future, we'll see how that holds up.
