you want to talk about the front hub assybly going bad. let me tell you.
good thing i was only going 5mph when it did go.
I was turning a corner on my home from work when the driver side let loose.
i limped to a gas station and jacked it up. The nylock part of the nut was
gone and the only thing holding the wheel on the truck was the threads that
were left on the spindle(nut was backing out) and the caliper bolts. i heard
a pop sound when i turned the corner. I hate to think about what would have
happened if i were going the traffic speed when it would gone. eeewwww!!!
