: wow... I'm seriously impressed. This is what separates guys like me
: from guys like Jon. I graduated from the McGuyver School Of
: Engineering. Fix anything and build anything out of bubble gum, barb
: wire, and tooth floss and get it fixed just in the nick of time to get
: me where I'm goin and it could break down at any given moment. I'm
: lucky it works at all let alone if it looks good or not! LOL

: Hell - I nearly set both of my Dakotas on fire, in two seperate
: incidents, doing electrical work on them. Heh. Whoops - need an
: inline fuse there! (coughing in the smoke)

: Jon? Nope - no bubble gum and tooth floss for him! Jon goes all out
: from blueprints to the finished product... all perfectly powdercoated,
: soldered, and shiny. And then says he could have built it better LOL

: I'm in awe! If you ever put that into a kit for sale - I'd snap one up
: in an instant!

Heh! Thanks for the kind words, Tom. :-) Well, it *was* for my
newest and most expensive vehicle so I didn't want to hack it up too
bad. :-) The pre-planning and diagrams I did were worth their weight
in gold when it came time to do the install since I ordered the parts
and did the install a few months after the initial planning, so I had
forgotten certain aspects of the system. :-) I should probably scan
it in and post it on the web site, though with my chicken scratch
writing, that might not be as useful as it might seem. ;-)

As far as a kit goes, its somewhat tempting, as I am somewhat
tempted to put a kit together for anything I make, but this was more
of a one-off type deal. It could probably be done, but what with the
differences between vehicles, it would probably be more trouble than
its worth. Instead, I basically figured I'd put as much info as I
could up on my web site so that someone who was so inclined could
have a pretty good head-start to create a similar system on their
own vehicle.
