I'm looking to install an aftermarket head unit. The question I have is,
how much clearance is there behind the factory head unit.
I'm looking to install the new head unit in the shell of the factory
unit and convert the face of the factory unit to make it flip down
exposing the new unit. I'm going for the complete stealth look for my
stereo install. I haven't removed it yet and was hoping to get more info
before I start digging into this project. You know, planning ahead.
Any help the brains of the DML could provide would be appreciated.
