Well, I hope I gain more HP at 7000 miles! :) 1500 was when I started to be
able to get some decent tire squeal on dry pavement... Of course you're
talking to someone who had a busted-ass V6 to measure up to!
Best mod I've done so far is the K&N Drop in filter. I had one from the 98,
decided to give it a whirl.... It's not a performance gainer in any
significant way, but did gain me about 3 MPG's, so I'm calling it a winner!

Going in for my first oil change this week, and so far I'm getting used to
the 05. I've rationalized it down from "It's friggin huge" to "I went from
a RC to a CC, so It's not really that big". Plus I was parked next to a 03
Ram 1500 RC tonight, and the Dakota got a whole lot smaller!
...Now if only I can get the damn Homelink thingie set up, I'll be 100%
satisfied with my purchase. Right now I'm at 99.995%. :)
