We're in the same boat. However, since the subject came up, I've been keeping
an eye out for the FRS radios to see what prices are like. They're getting
pretty cheap, and plentiful to boot. I've seen 'em at Wally World, Best Buy,
Amazon.com, even the drugstore sells them. I think FRS is rapidly becoming a
lot more widespread than CB ever was.
We'll probably get an FRS radio or two at some point in the near future. Does
anyone know what features or specs to look for? Brands to stick with or
avoid? What's "GMRS" anyway?
