I don't recall what the issue you were having is. The only problem
I've seen bad headlight switches cause is flickering parking-,
instrument- or head-lights. I'm on my third headlight switch as of
last week - it would overheat and start making intermittent contact
with the headlight circuit after 30 minutes to an hour with the lights
on. I had to remove the switch and give it some airflow from the dash
vent to keep my lights on on my way back from Cleveland a couple weeks
ago.
