I just got Toyo Proxe tires for my 98 2wd and love them. Great traction in
wet or dry and super quiet on the highway. They have an A rating for wear
and traction.

$515 mounted, and all the usual stuff, out the door.
I saw them at several places online for as low as $83 each, plus shipping.

Hi Mike - BFG's are good, heard they are a little skittish in rain. The
BFG's on the Ram are old, worn, starting to dry rot - so they don't hold
the best anymore. If you are going Michelin, look into the Cross
Terrain tires. They are an all season tire that is more for onroad than
offroad. Lots of siping and gripping edges on that tire. Have about
27K miles on my mothers explorer with that set of tires and they are
still showing lots of tread left. The Dueler Revos have recieved high
praise - but never used them before. Personally I am very pleased with
the Cross Terrain tires.
