Continuing Saga of Denthood

I dropped off my driveshaft at FleetPride this afternoon to get
retubed, and I had them put on a 1350 yoke in back to match the
Sterling rear axle's yoke so I won't have to use a conversion ujoint
anymore.

They called me up to tell me it was done while I was waiting at the
towing company to talk to them in person, with pictures in hand.
Naturally, the continued denying that they possibly could have done it.
They claimed that if they'd lifted the rear wheels with the tail of
the bed, it would have snapped off. The two guys I talked to were the
ones who loaded it and unloaded it, and they said that they didn't do
anything stupid with my truck (though they did say they were going to
take the tools and parts out of it if they couldn't track down the
owner since they were pretty sure it was stolen/abandoned).

BUT, the guy who unloaded it didn't put it in the same spot it was in
when I picked it up. The third guy, who is the one who must have
moved it (and who happens to be the owner, supposedly with 50 years of
towing and recovery experience), was out on a AAA call. I'd put money
he was being careless or lazy when he moved it, and that's when the
driveshaft bit it. The flatbed that was there (they seem to have two)
didn't have any telling marks on the tail of it's bed, but it was so
chewed up I don't think anything would have shown in particular if it
was been the perpetrating truck...

So the bottom line is that I spend $45 to get my truck back, $33
balancing tires before I found the driveshaft problem, and $180 getting
the driveshaft re-tubed and the rear yoke swapped out, and there's no
way I can *prove* that they did shit, and they won't admit it either.
In summation, "damnit.", but at least I'll have my truck back in
running shape tomorrow when I pick up my rebuilt driveshaft.
