I'm not trying to start trouble here :-) just curious about
something. I noticed these big torque and power numbers (about
55hp and 90lb-ft more at the rear wheels than my V8 Dak), which
got me excited enough to check out the dragtruk.com listings, but
there I found 1/4mi times of mid-14 and low/mid-15. My wimpy Dak
has gone 14.55@94.14, and even at that power level, I know its got
a little more in it since I have run 14.55 on a missed shift.
Anyhoo, my brain went "does not compute" on me; there's probably a
simple explanation, but I had to check. I'm assuming the numbers
weren't a typo, so are the DragTruk times out of date perhaps? I
would have expected 13.70s out of a 4300-4400lb truck at that power
level.
