The Cruise Control system is controlled via the PCM and the Stop Lamp Switch
(via ABS module) - White/Pink Wire.
The PCM circuit is the VSC ON/OFF Switch Sense (Yellow/Red) and Stop Lamp
Switch Sense (White/Pink).
There are also two different stop lamp switches for the Dak (with and
without VSC - Vehicle Speed Control).

Subject: DML: Cruise Control shut off with Manual Transmission
Does anyone know how the cruise control shuts off when you depress the
clutch on a Gen II Dakota with manual transmission? I have searched all the
FSM schematics for 93-95 Daks and there is not even a switch on the clutch,
except for the clutch safety switch on the '95, nor is there any input to
the PCM except the ON/OFF switch, and the brake light switch. The '93 and
'94 don't even have a clutch safety switch for starting the engine. The line
is simply grounded all the time. Does the PCM sense the increase in engine
RPM or what?
The reason I'm curious is because I have a MP-PCM part number 5249516, which
is the PCM for both '92-and '93 - 5.2L Daks. It is listed as the number for
both automatic and manual transmissions even though the 5.2L was not offered
with a manual in '92 or '93. When I use this MP PCM I have to disconnect the
Park/Neutral switch line from pin 30 on the PCM to get my cruise control to
work, but then it won't disengage with the clutch. I am just curious how the
normal PCM knows when you depress the clutch pedal without any kind of
switch? I could hook up a switch to my clutch pedal and run it to pin 30 on
the PCM, but I want to understand how it is supposed to work.
