Subject: DML: Calipers/Timing Chain

Hey, DML...
FIRST: I know we've got a lotta brake experts on the list, but we always
talk rotors & pads - not calipers.
The DAKSY has a "sticky" passenger side caliper & it's eating up pads in
less than 20K. I figger with the temps in the below freezin range I can get
thru the winter on this set, & then it'll be a little better workin
outside...
Question is, do I buy MoPar OEM calipers (mizewell replace both), or do I go
for rehabbed/rebuilt ones?
Or, is there a 3rd option? Is there a manufacturer out there who makes a
better caliper than the OEM?
Opinions?
Anybody?
SECOND: We've been bandying around timing chain durability and wear,
lately....
What's our best option for replacement TC mfrs? Anybody got a feel for which
one is better than another?
If I get in the front of the 3.9 to change the chain, is there something
else I should be doing or looking for while I'm in there? I just did the
water Pump & serp belt about 20K ago, & a t-stat has less than 10k...
