if you want better performance, get some 4.10 gears for that rig. the
torque converter will help, but the gears will definitely help you off the
line with that heavy beast (about 4000lbs), and will probably help your gas
mileage.

Subject: DML: Aftermarket Torque Convertor?

I have a '99 5.2 2WD CC Dak with a Magnum Performance TB, a Gibson catback
exhaust and a 3.55 rear. Would it be worthwhile to install an aftermarket TC
for better bottomend performance? Which one would you suggest and who should
I buy it from? Also, would a transmiision kit be a good idea?

I plan on a few occasional 1/4 mile passes, but I would like something that
is good for everyday use mostly.

Thanks.

Guy
