Odd... When I just now went online at Autolite's website it listed
5224's for the Ram. Interesting that you have something else listed in
yours.
Anyone else have any opinion?

The auto parts store that I use looked up in his reference book for the
autolite plugs.
The 522x family is listed for the 318 motor and the 392x family is
listed for
the 360. Up here in Canada, the 5223 is no longer listed and is not
available.
It may be different in the States.
I have used the 5224, 3924 and 3923 in my 318. I didn't see what the
problem
was that you mentioned so I can't offer up any information.
