Tearing appart the front suspension

So, I'm new at this non-strut suspension. How do I go about tearing up the front end. I want the springs out so they can be cut, drill out and replace the bump stops (the bottom out ones) and I'd like to replace a slightly bend lower control arm while I'm there. Does someone have those pages out of a service manual, or can give a good discription?
