IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL AOL USERS!

This message is being sent directly to all current DML subscribers
who are AOL users as well as being posted via the DML itself. A
problem has arisen regarding e-mail delivery to AOL users which needs
to be corrected. Basically what is happening is there are some AOL
users who are subscribed to the DML who are either unable or
unwilling to unsubscribe themselves from the list, and they are
simply clicking on their "this is spam" button. The problem with
this is that when they report a message as spam, AOL considers
it a complaint, and their e-mail filters automatically start
blocking DML messages. So because of one or two people, DMLers
who use AOL are not receiving DML messages (or are only getting
a small, spuratic sampling of them). I am set up with AOL such
that I am informed whenever somebody complains about a message
from our server, but unfortunately due to AOL's member policies,
they will not tell me WHO is reporting the messages as spam.
(I would gladly unsubscribe them; I don't want to waste my
computing resources sending DML mail to someone who doesn't
want it any more than they want the DML mail!)

Anyway, this has gotten to the point where drastic action
is required, for the greater good of all AOL DMLers. What I am
going to do as soon as I send this message is send through a
command which will unsubscribe *everyone* who has an AOL e-mail
address.

WHAT THIS MEANS IS IF YOU ARE AN AOL USER WHO WISHES TO
CONTINUE RECEIVING DML POSTS, YOU MUST RE-SUBSCRIBE YOURSELF!

You can subscribe at the following URL:

    http://www.dakota-truck.net/CGI-BIN/dml.html

Or you can subscribe by sending the following command in
the BODY of an e-mail message to majordomo@dakota-truck.net:

subscribe dakota-truck

(or use "subscribe dakota-truck-digest" if you want to subscribe
to the digest version)

Please accept my sincere apologies for this inconvenience.
I wish there were a better way to do this but I cannot think of
one at the moment, and anyway, if this problem continues, you
AOL users are just as good as unsubscribed anyway, since none of
the DML messages will be able to get to you due to having them
rejected by AOL's anti-spam system.

If you have any questions, or have any problems re-subscribing,
etc. please do not hesistate to contact me at jon@dakota-truck.net.

Thanks!
