In my 1992 V8 Dakota it seems that every 4 weeks ( 1 month ) I'm putting about 1 cup of
coolant back into radiator and another cup or two of coolant in the reservoir bottle. I
checked all the hoses and connections and there are no leaks there.
The reservoir bottle is new and not cracked and the tubing is all new too. I checked the
tubing connections. all good.
Q:
Shouldn't the coolant system retain all coolant fluid? (y or n)
Can it be a head gasket?
If yes, is there a way to check for this?
I mean, is there a way to put the system under pressure and monitor the
pressure level for several minutes?
