>> I hauled a motorcycle trailer from IL to SD (2000 miles round trip) and
only got 11.8 mpg's. I usually get 22-23 on the highway not towing, and
I figured my milage wouldn't be that good... but is this normal for a
4.7 or do I need to get this puppy checked out???<<<
I'm just guesstimating that the trailer probably weighed about 1000lbs,
which shouldn't hurt your mileage that bad. On 05's, the slightest misfire
or anything will throw a light. I'd have it checked out, especially while
it's under warranty. Unless you were cruising at about 90mph, you should've
seen at least 15mpg. Take it to the ol' stealership and see what they
say....
