I've thought about it, actually. :-) There are some fairly simple
(manual) machines available for not a lot of money, but unfortunately
they seem to be limited as far as the tire/rim size goes which makes them
pretty much useless for truck or offroad tires. Harbor Freight actually
has an electronic (digital) spin balancer for $1200, which is certainly
more money than I could justify, but even if it wasn't, once again, max
tire size 31.5". :-P Who knows, maybe one of these days I'll get lucky
and a tire shop will go out of business or something and I'll be in the
right place at the right time. :-)
