Yah, it was Bob, he just got to go through that wonderful experience that I
went through a few months ago.

Subject: DML: Re: Re: Sticking front brakes
Hey Tom!
<snip> So are you saying the booster needs to be replaced (new for old) or
is there
an adjustment?<snip>
No adjustment...ya gotta replace it...I got a remanufactured booster for
about $100...
You'll need:
A booster
siphoning pump
WD-40 or some other penetrating oil
12mm wrench
13mm socket
flathead screwdriver
15mm deep socket
fresh brake fluid
METRIC maser cylinder bleeder kit ($10.79 @ NAPA)
1. spray the brake line nuts at the master cylinder with P-oil...
2 Ya gotta drain the master cylinder...
3 remove the brake lines from the M/C...(12mm wrench)
4 remove the M/C from the booster...(13 mm socket)
5 remove the vacuum lines from the booster...
Now for the FUN part!
Crawl into the driver side on your back & locate the mounting nuts for the
booster...ya may need a flashlight to find them
6 remove the spring clip holding the brake pedal to the booster
rod...(flathead screwdriver)
7 remove the booster mounting nuts (4)...(15mm deep socket, a universal
drive, an extension & ratchet)...
8 remove the booster by gently pushing the brake lines out of the way
Install is the reverse...BUT ya gotta bench bleed the M/C - BEFORE ya
reinstall it
<snip>I had it on my 98 and so did another good person on here.<snip>
Hey, that was me! I'm one of the good persons!
