Check the battery connections first, make sure they are tight and clean.
You are sure the battery is new? Then make sure the connections on the
alternator are okay. Sounds like something it really bugging your voltage
regulator.

battery is brand new so as far as I know it's ok. Not having any
problems starting or anything like that.
