Hi there!
I just joined to ask a quick question-
I'm looking at POSSIBLY purchasing a '90 Dakota. It's
a regular cab 2.5 I-4 (according to the VIN), and it's
a stick. I like that it's a stick, however if I buy it
I have a '74 360 awaiting a new home. Can I mate the
360 to the current transmission? Or is the bellhousing
different/current trans too weak for 360? Furthermore,
would I need to bolster up the stock
suspension/driveline, or can it handle the 360? The
360 is currently a stockish 10 year old rebuild with
300,000 miles. It's been in my '68 Chrysler wagon for
the past 20 years, and I'm working on putting a 493 in
that, so the 360 is being displaced. Since it runs so
smooth, I hate to see it go to waste.
Like I said, I'm just curious.
Thanks!
Bobby
